Answer:

Religious equality is the idea that all people should have an equal right to believe or not believe in the religion they choose, and that they should not be discriminated against because of their religious beliefs. Religious discrimination, on the other hand, refers to the unfavorable treatment given to someone because of their religion, either knowingly or unknowingly. This can take many forms, such as denying them employment or educational opportunities, denying them building permits for places of worship, or socially marginalizing them. A practical example of religious equality would be in a workplace where employees have the option of taking days off for religious reasons. If all employees have the same opportunity to request these days off, then religious equality would be exercised. On the other hand, an example of religious discrimination could be denying someone the opportunity to work at a company just because they practice a different religion than the employer. In this case, the individual would be being discriminated against based on their religion.
