Answer:

1/20

Explanation:

1/5 is the prob of getting h from 5 cards, without replacing a card, you have a 1/4 chance of drawing f. 1/5 x 1/4 is 1/20

Answer: 1/10

Explanation:

There are 5 letters total

On your first draw you want to get an H

P(H) = 2/5 >There are 2 H's out of 5 letters

On your second draw you want to get an F

P(F) = 1/4 >Now there are only 4 letters total because you

did not replace

Probability of get an F is dependent on you getting an H first so you multiply the probabilities

P(H AND F) = (2/5)(1/4)

P(H AND F) = 2/20

P(H and F) = 1/10
