a) 2y = 3x - 6

-3x + 2y = -6

3x - 2y = 6

6x - 4y = 12

b) y = (3/2)x + 2

c) m = (3 - 2)/(4 - 2) = 1/2

2 = (1/2)(2) + b

2 = 1 + b, so b = 1

y = (1/2)x + 1
