The numbers greater than 2 on a six_sided die are 3, 4, 5, and 6 (4) these are our preferable outcomes. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 (6) are our possible out comes, and since

Number of preferable outcomes / Numbers of possible outcomes Means the answer would be 4/6, or 2/3, or 66.666…%.

the probability of rolling a number greater than two is 4/6 or 2/3 simplified

there are four numbers out of six that you could roll that are greater than two, so that would give you 4/6. then if you divide both the numerator and denominator by two, you could simplify it down to 2/3
