Make y the subject of the formula from equation 2

-15y/-15=-15-15x/-15

Y=15+15/15..............3

Substitute equ..... 3 to equ.... 1

5x-5(15+15/15)=1

5x-1(15+15/3)=1

3*5x-1*3(15+15/3)=1*3

15x-1(15+15)=3

15x-15-15pp=3

15x-30=3

15x=3+30

15x/15=33/15

x=2.2

From equation.....

5x-5y=1

5(2.2)-5y=1

11-5y=1

-5y=1-11

-5y/-5=10/-5

Y=-2

PROVE

FROM EQUATION ONE

5X-5Y=1

5(2.2)-5(-2)=1

11-10=1

1=1

SO Y=-2 AND X=2.2
