How do i switch classes? URGENT!!!!!!

I’m not talking about switching a class because i dont like the people or teacher, I’m talking about subject wise. For example, I picked World History but later changed it to AP Euro as i wanted to challenge myself more. So now i’m worried i didnt get into it as i really want to be in the class and it doesnt help that my counselor isnt the friendliest type, so i worry she may reject my request. So is there any way i can do it? maybe with an excuse because a lot of the classes i picked were not the ones i desired but felt pressured to pick. I really need help so if anyone can give me advice, i’d be extremely grateful. This is in high school by the way.

I feel the same way when it comes to speaking up. Although its your counselours job to ensure you like your classes. Just speak to her about it, if it doesnt work, speak to dean.
