Volume of the hemisphere = 14.4in³

First, we need to use the formula for the volume of a hemisphere.

2/3 x π r³

The only value we need to find here is the radius.

The radius is half the diameter.

So we divide 3.8in by 2.

3.8 ÷ 2 = 1.9in

R = 1.9in

Now, we can substitute these values into the formula above.

Volume of hemisphere = 2/3 x π x 1.9³

= 14.3654560073

Nearest tenth

= 14.4in³
