The reason why these inequalities <, ≤ are incorrect is because the inequality will basically be saying that the problem is 2.85x + 1.27y is less than the amount of 2,700 or less than or equal to the amount of 2,700. Also, inequality > would be wrong because, unlike the other wrong choices of inequalities, they're all NOT fitting in with the "meet or exceed" part of meeting the value of 2,700 with a possibility of still having a more excellent value.
