let's call the relationship between the 2 numbers "?".

so,

sqrt(180) ? 102/8 = 51/4

to clarify we simply square both sides (the relationship must still be the same) :

180 ? (51/4)² = 51²/4² = 2601/16

now let's bring both sides to the same denominator (bottom part of the fraction) :

180/1 = 180×16/1×16 = 2880/16

so, we have

2880/16 ? 2601/16

and we see that "?" = ">"

so,

sqrt(180) > 102/8

in explicit numbers :

13.41640786... > 12.75
