The word I chose was "light."
In the morning, a light breeze blows,
As the sun begins to rise and glow.
The light of day brings warmth and cheer,
As people start their work and steer.
But light can also mean a weight,
A burden carried with much debate.
A heavy heart, a troubled mind,
These are the weights that light can bind.
Then there is the light of hope,
A beacon in the darkness, a way to cope.
It shines bright in the darkest night,
Guiding us to a path of right.
And finally, there is the light of love,
Pure and bright, like the stars above.
It warms the soul and soothes the heart,
A light that never will depart.
So let us embrace the various meanings of light,
And let it guide us through the day and night.
For in its many forms, light can bring,
Joy, hope, love, and everything.
