Answer:

y = -6x + 2

Explanation:

We can use point slope formula, when we have a point and a slope.

y - 8 = -6(x + 1)

that's the equation.

If you want it in Slope intercept form, you simply distribute the -6 and move the 8 to the other side

y - 8 = -6x - 6

y = -6x +2

Answer:

y = -6x + 2

Explanation:

y = mx + b

m = slope

slope = m = -6

y = -6x + b

8 = -6(-1) + b

b = 2

y = -6x + 2
