The building manager takes a look at the tank in February. She knows the buildingneeds 7,000 gallons of oil to be able to use heat through the rest of the winter. She uses a stick dippedthrough the fill tube and sees that she has 45 inches of oil in the tank. Is this enough?

Answer: To determine if the amount of oil in the tank is enough, we need to convert the measurement in inches to gallons. However, in order to do so, we need to know the dimensions of the tank or have a conversion factor that relates the volume of oil to the height in inches.

Without the necessary information, it's not possible to determine if 45 inches of oil in the tank is sufficient to meet the building's needs of 7,000 gallons of oil.
