the volume (V) of a cylinder is calculated as

V = πr²h ( r is the radius of the base and h the height of the cylinder )

here diameter = 20 , then r = 20 ÷ 2 = 10 and h = 9

V = π × 10² × 9 = π × 100 × 9 = 900π ≈ 2827.4 cm³ ( to 1 decimal place )
