its volume is simply the product of its dimensions, namely Length, Width and Height, so hmmm let's convert all mixed fractions to improper fractions and get the product.

\stackrel{mixed}{2(1)/(2)}\implies \cfrac{2\cdot 2+1}{2}\implies \stackrel{improper}{\cfrac{5}{2}}~\hfill \stackrel{mixed}{3(1)/(2)} \implies \cfrac{3\cdot 2+1}{2} \implies \stackrel{improper}{\cfrac{7}{2}} \\\\[-0.35em] ~\dotfill\\\\ \left( \cfrac{5}{2} \right)\left( \cfrac{7}{2} \right)(5)\implies \cfrac{175}{4}\implies 43(3)/(4)~yd^3
