The highest peak when x= 33 and the ball reaches a height of 16.39 ft

Explanation:

The peak is obtained at x= -b/2a
x= -0.66 / 2(-0.01)

x = -0.66/(-0.02)

x= 33

The highest is reached when x=33 :
-0.01(33)^2 +0.66*33 +5.5 = 16.39 ft

The ball finally touches the ground again when -0.01x² + .66x +5.5 = 0
and the starting height is when x=0 => -0.01(0)^2 + 0.66(0) +5.5 = 5.5 ft

He started his throw at 5.5 ft
