Explanation:

surface area of a rectangular prism,

A = 2(wl + hl + hw)

where, w = width

l = length

h = height

by substituting the values,

l = 7cm, w = 4cm, h = 2cm

A = 2(7*4 + 2*7 + 2*4)

= 2(28 + 14 + 8)

= 2(50) = 100 cm²
