What is the actual capacity of an aquarium with dimensions of 2 m by 0. 5 m by 0. 9 m?

Answer: 0.9m^3

Capacity refers to volume. So the rectangular shape of aquarium would be width x height x base. In this case the width, height, and base can be interchangeable. Multiplying units would be adding the amount of variables.

Using the formula, you would do:

2m x 0.5m x 0.9m = 0.9m^3
