What did President Thomas Jefferson do with the Louisiana Territory after it was purchased? He approved the Lewis and Clark expedition to explore the region. He sold it back to Napoleon Bonaparte for a much higher price. He returned it to the Native American people who already lived there. He left the land as it was because he had other things to focus on.

Answer: He approved the Lewis and Clark expedition

Explanation: He most definitely did not sell it back to Napoleon.

Lewis and Clark scouted out a huge portion of the new Louisiana land with their team/squad. They traded fairly with tribes and tries to keep peace with them, and made constant maps of the river and land.
