\longmapsto \: 2x + 10 = 4x - 20

\longmapsto \: 2x - 4 x= - 20 - 10

\longmapsto \: - 2x = - 30

\longmapsto \: x=15

Answer:

x= 15

Explanation:

All sides of a rhombus are equal so AD = CD

2x+10 = 4x-20

Subtract 2x from each side

2x+10-2x = 4x-20 -2x

10 = 2x-20

Add 20 to each side

10+20 = 2x-20+20

30 = 2x

Divide by 2

30/2 = 2x/2

15 =x
