Answer:

1) We can represent the number of hours using the letter "h"

8 1/5 hours + h = 32 4/5

b) Convert the mixed number to improper fractions

8 1/5 = 41/5

32 4/5 = 164/5

We rewrite the subject

(41/5) * h = 164/5

We want to make h the subject so we can multiply both sides by the reciprocal of (41/5) = (5/41)
(5/41) * (41/5) * h = (5/41) * (164/5)

h = 164/41

h = 4
