Shamma’s tea was too hot to drink, so she put it in the freezer. The temperature

of the tea was initially 175°F, and it decreased by about 7% each minute. You can
use a function to approximate the temperature of Shamma's tea x minutes after
she put it in the freezer.
a) Which function will represent the temperature of the tea after minutes?
() = 0.93 − 175 or () = 175(0.93)

b) Why would the function be represented by this equation?

Answer:
f(x)=175(0.93)^x\\

Explanation:

I don't think the question is complete

The formula is:

f(x)=175(0.93)^x

This is because if it decreases by 7% each minute, and it was simply
f(x)=175-(175*0.93)x then after about 20 minutes, it would reach below 0, which is not possible. After another hour, it would reach -545 degrees, or 5 times the temperature of dry ice in coldness.
