In (x-1)² = 3
This is a natural logarithm please help !

Explanation:

Using the laws of logorithms, this equals

2 ln (x-1) = 3

ln(x-1) = 3/2 now e^x both sides

e^( ln (x-1) = e^(3/2)

(x-1) = e^(3/2)

x = 5.4817
