Students with too much homework have elevated stress levels. Students are not able to meet their developmental needs or cultivate otherc critical life skills at the same time. While some amount of homework may help students connect to their learning and enhance their in-class performance, too much homework can have damaging effects. Students regularly report that homework is their primary source of stress. One of the biggest causes of homework stress is not understanding the question, or how to solve the problem at hand. Homework also causes students to sleep less and it consumes free time. I believe homework does cause quite an amount of stress.

Answer: Because we have teachers and they get paid to teach us, but they send us home with homework, and then the next day we are tired because the assignment is long, so we can't concentrate, and also because we need rest to think clearly and also try to learn but without rest, we can't think or learn.
