the slope of the line is -1.2 or -1 1/5 or if not simplified -6/5

2= x1

6= y1

7=x2

0=y2

using the formula y2-y1/x2-x1

now set up the equation

0-6/7-2

-6/5

-1 1/5 or -1.2

Answer:

m = -6/5

Explanation:

Slope = rise/run or (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1)

Points (2,6) (7,0)

We see the y decrease by 6 and the x increase by 5, so the slope is

m = -6/5
