17296.15 mm I think

Explanation:

You find the radius of the whole circle which would be half of the not shaded diameter plus the radius of the shaded portion, that get's you a total radius of 78. you then find the whole area which is pieR^2. so you'd find that which is pie times 78X78 which gets you 19,103.79 mm. then you find the area of the not shaded portion bu dividing the 48 diameter by 2 and using that in the pieR^2 by subing the 24 in for R. You'll get 1808.64. then you take 19103.79 and subtract the 1808.64 to get 17,296.15
