Check the picture below.


\tan(D )=\cfrac{\stackrel{opposite}{6}}{\underset{adjacent}{3}} \implies \tan( D )= 2 \implies \tan^(-1)(~~\tan( D )~~) =\tan^(-1)\left( 2 \right) \\\\\\ D =\tan^(-1)\left( 2 \right)\implies D \approx 63^o

Make sure your calculator is in Degree mode.
