There are three bags each containing 4 balls. Bag 1: three red balls, one blue ball. Bag 2: four red balls. Bag 3: two red balls, two blue balls.

What is the probability that the selected ball is from *bag 1* and is a *red ball*?

Answer: the bag 33.33 ect and the selecting of a red ball is 90%

Explanation:

if a bag had three red balls, one blue ball and there are four ball intotal you would most likely get a red ball out of blue the other 10% is the blue ball and for the bags answer is just 100 divided by 3

I'm pretty sure the answer is 1/4. You have to multiply the probability of selecting bag 1 (1/3) by the probability of selecting a red ball (9/12). And then you simplify that answer.
