What happened to the demand for agricultural products after wwii?

Prices for agricultural products dropped dramatically.

American farmers had planted all that they could because they expected that the demand for the products would continue. Farmers ended up with too many products after Europe's production of agricultural products, so the prices dropped dramatically.
