Military, social, political, and economic are four factors of Rome's decline. All factors dragged down the Roman Empire since they all linked with one another. Military decline meant less people had jobs so people didn't want to have kids and during the time, people were suffering from the plague. From that, there were no new ideas and achievements. Also, trade and production declined since the plague was cased by international trade.
