9x² + y² + 64 - 6xy - 16y - 48x

= 9x² - 6xy - 48x + y² - 16y + 64

= 9x² - 6x(y - 8) + y² - 2.8y + 8²

= (3x)² - 6x(y - 8) + (y - 8)²

= [3x - (y - 8)]²

= (3x - y + 8)²
