For the first equation, you have
f(x)= -(x+2)^2 +1\\. Plug in 0 for all the x values. You get
-(0+2)^2 +1. Solve that and you're left with -3 as your y-int. Therefore, the answer will be (0, -3) AKA #5.

2. simplify equation till you have one value

3. That value you just found is the y- int.
