sugar by 25%. By what percent the expenditure on sugar of the family will be increased
or decreased?

let the initial price Be X after 40% on increasing then the total price will be X + 40% of X that is equal to 7 x / 5

and

let the amount of sugar be y final conjunction after decreasing the amount will be Y - 25% of Y that is equal to 3 y by 4

Now,

initial expenditure is equal to price into amount that is X into Y that is xy

and

final expenditure is equal to 7x by 5 into 3 by 4 that is 21 by 20 xy

finally,

increase percent is equal to final mines in CL expenditure by initial expenditure into 100% then

(21 / 20 x y - xy )by x y into 100% that is equal to 5%

therefore the expenditure of a sugar increased on a family is 5%
