Step-by-step explanation:
I faced a really difficult situation last year. I was entering my second year of high school, and the transition from freshman year to sophomore year was really difficult. The piles of homework seemed to eat away at my time, I didn't have any freedom anymore. On top of that, I was rejected from a school program, felt isolated from my friends, and gained a few pounds, which really hurt my self-esteem. As a result, I had a nervous breakdown, which I took out on my mom, and afterwards, I felt so bad about it that I wanted to change, but I didn't know how.
This semester, I think I'm doing better. I'm trying to find things that I love doing. It chips away at my time (and my grades), but at least I'm happier.
