Each year in January, the President of the United States holds a State of the Union Address to set forth policies and programs he wants Congress to put in place. This is denoted by option D. These meetings are beneficial in a variety of ways including the President’s opportunity to directly address Congress, a way to better communicate, and a way to appeal more to the citizens themselves. As the state of the nation is brought up, many chances are endowed that members of Congress innovate ways to effectively strengthen the country as a whole.
