As a trustee for a federal bankruptcy court, Daniel's duties include:
- Collecting and liquidating non-exempt assets of the debtor.
- Investigating the debtor's financial affairs and transactions.
- Objecting to the discharge of the debtor's debts if appropriate.
- Distributing the proceeds from the liquidation of assets to the debtor's creditors according to the priorities set forth in the Bankruptcy Code.
- Presiding over the meeting of creditors.
- Filing reports with the court and the United States Trustee.
