sin (M) = 1/11 * √34 or (√34) / 11

Explanation:

The sine ratio is sin (reference angle) = opposite / hypotenuse.

  • In triangle NMO, the side opposite angle M is NO and it's √34 units long.
  • MO is the hypotenuse and it's 11 units long

Plugging in M for the reference angle gives us:

sin (M) = (√34) / 11. Dividing by 11 is the same as multiplying by 1/11 so alternatively, you could write sin (M) = 1/11 * (√34)

The expression is already in simplest radical form as there are no perfect squares which divide evenly into 34.
