So what I did was use the hole thing at 7 then a ray at the end

Answer:

To find the absolute value of a number is to find how many numbers is the number from zero.

The value of x can be from -6 to 6. So put the number line as -7 to 7 with OPEN segment dots. (-6, -5, -4, -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6)

0= Segment/Point

Bolded Line = Number Line

If an absolute value is negative, just change it to the positive version. If an absolute value is positive, it stays the same. The answer is provided on the chart above. Hope this helps!
