I'm going to state what I think that the functions were and then answer:

a.
f(x)=5x^4 is not exponential. The variable is not an exponent.

b.
g(x)=5(17)^x IS. The variable IS an exponent.

c.
h(x) =11x is not. But if you meant
h(x)=11^x then it is. Is the variable an exponent? If so, then the answer is yes.

d.
j(x)=6(2.56)^x IS, assuming again that the variable is an exponent.

e
k(x) = 4(6)^x IS, assuming again that the variable is an exponent.

Now, if any of the x's I wrote as exponents are not exponents, then those are not exponential functions.
