Hello !

1. System of equation

y = 6x - 11\\2x + 3y = 7

2. The substitution method

We will use the substitution method.

2.1 We want to isolate y, it's already done!

y = 6x - 11

2.2 We replace y in the 2nd expression :

2x + 3(6x-11) = 7

2.3 Now we solve the equation since we only have x

2.3.1 Solve x

2x + 3(6x-11) = 7\\\\2x + 18x - 33 = 7\\\\20x - 33 = 7\\\\20x= 33+7\\\\20x=40\\\\x = (40)/(20) \\\\\boxed{x = 2}

2.3.2 Solve y

y = 6x - 11\\\\y = 6*2 - 11\\\\y = 12 - 11\\\\\boxed{y = 1}

3. Conclusion

x = 2 and y = 1

Have a good day !
