Explain, with details, why |−10|>|3|. Plz help tell why 10 is bigger than three 15 point

Answer:

|-10| is bigger than |3| because when taking the absolute value (the vertical line) of a number, you are counting how far away from 0 it is meaning that both 10 and -10 are 10 spaces away from 0. The negative doesn't matter.
