False.
Little contact did not exist among the diverse Indian societies of North America. In fact, there was a great deal of interaction and exchange between various indigenous groups across the continent. Trade, migration, intermarriage, and shared cultural practices created a complex web of connections and relationships among different tribes and nations. While there were also conflicts and tensions between groups, particularly as European colonization disrupted traditional ways of life, the history of Native American societies is one of diversity, complexity, and ongoing cultural exchange.
