Answer:

y = 0.8x + 7 or

y =
(4)/(5)x + 7

Explanation:

The slope intercept formula is: y = mx + b

9y - 8x = 63

+8x +8x

= 9y = 63 + 8x

9y/9 = 63/9 + 8x/9 ←

We're getting rid of the 9 beside the y, so we have to divde every number by 9.

= y = 0.8x + 7 if you want the 0.8 as a fraction, it'll be
(4)/(5)

Answer:

turn it into y=mx+b

Explanation:

get y alone

add 8x to both sides

9y=63+8x

divide both sides by 9

63/9=7 8x/9=
(8x)/(9)

simplify

y=
(8)/(9)x+7
