Answer:

Part I:

1. binomial

2. trinomial

3. monomial

4. monomial

Part ll :

5. 8xy2 + 6xy + 5y + 12

6. 9x4 + 3x7 - 4x2 + 34x

Part lll:

7. (p3+5p2+9p-6)+(5p3-8p+1)

= p3 + 5p2 + 9p - 6 + 5p3 - 8p + 1

= 6p3 + 5p2 + p - 5 ( add all the like terms i. e. those terms having the same power)

8. (2p4+3p+9) +(4p4+3p3+p)

= 2p4 + 3p + 9 + 4p4 + 3p3 + p

= 6p4 + 3p3 + 4p + 9 ( adding all the like terms i. e. those terms having same power )

Hope this helped you
