Matt wants to buy a toy car that costs a dollar. Which coins can he use? Choose three that apply. 20 nickels, 2 quarters 10 dimes

Can’t use the 2 quarts because that’s only ¢50

20 nickel would equal 100 but it would be a lot

So 10 dimes would equal 100 and includes less counting so this is your best bet

Answer: Well he cant use the quarters because each quarter is 25 cents 25 + 25 = 50

He can use 20 nickels but it will take some time to count them :

5+5+5+5+5+5+5+5+5+5+5+5+5+5+5+5+5+5+5+5=100

But he can also use dimes because every dime is 10 cents and its not to hard to count :

10+10+10+10+10+10+10+10+10+10=100

So I choose dimes
