Answer:

\huge\boxed{\sf \{(1,-1)\}}

Explanation:

Given equations:

y = -3x + 2 -------------(1)

y = 4x - 5 ---------------(2)

Equating both equations.

We get,

-3x + 2 = 4x - 5

  • Add 3x to both sides

2 = 4x + 3x - 5

2 = 7x - 5

  • Add 5 to both sides

2 + 5 = 7x

7 = 7x

  • Divide both sides by 7

1 = x

OR

x = 1

Put x = 1 in Eq. (1)

y = -3(1) + 2

y = -3 + 2

y = -1

Solution set = {(x,y)} = {(1,-1)}

\rule[225]{225}{2}
