Answer:

y = 2x - 8

Explanation:

the equation of a line in slope- intercept form is

y = mx + c ( m is the slope and c the y- intercept )

here slope m = 2 , then

y = 2x + c ← is the partial equation

to find c substitute (3, - 2 ) into the partial equation

- 2 = 2(3) + c = 6 + c ( subtract 6 from both sides )

- 8 = c

y = 2x - 8 ← equation of line
