So you must find the y intercept (b) and slop (m) .

the y-intercept is already expressed in the graph which is the line pass through y axis . It is -1 .

and to solve m (slop) we will use (0, -1) or (-2, 0)

It has the same answer . Let's use the 2nd one

y=mx+b

0=m(-2) -1

m(-2)=1

m= -1/2

we get y-intercept -1 and slop -1/2 so the equetion is written as


y = ( - 1)/(2) x - 1
