OJT Deaf Experience 2023

1. What is your work?

Answer:

1. I'm not actually working right now, but I'm open to suggestions if you have any!

2. Same as above.

3. I don't have a supervisor, but I always try to maintain a good relationship with my bosses, regardless of their hearing status.

4. I don't have any hearing friends at work, but I've made some great friends who are deaf like me!

5. In the workplace, I communicate with my colleagues through email, messaging apps, and sometimes in-person conversations using ASL.

6. To manage my time, I usually make a to-do list and prioritize my tasks based on their urgency.

7. I make sure to set alarms and reminders, so I'm never late or absent.

8. I learned a lot during my OJT, but one of the most important things was the importance of being organized and proactive.
