Can the sides of a triangle have lengths 3, 13, and 15?

Yes, because the sum of 2 sides of a triangle must always be greater in length than the third.

a + b > c
a + c > b
b + c > a

If a = 3, b = 13, and c = 15

3 + 13 > 15
3 + 15 > 13
13 + 15 > 3

16 > 15
18 > 13
28 > 3
