Explanation:

Quadrilateral is a four-sided polygon. Sum of all angles of any quadrilateral is 360°

3x - 17 + 2x + 2 + 90 + 90 = 360°

3x + 2x - 17 + 2 + 180 = 360

Combine like terms. Like terms have same variable with same power. Here, 3x & 2x are like terms and 2, 180, (-17) are constants.

5x + 165 = 360

Subtract 165 from both sides,

5x = 360 - 165

5x = 195

Divide both sides by 5,

x = 195 ÷ 5

x = 39°
